URBAN DECAY - NAKED 3 PALETTE

I wasn't very excited when I heard a new version of the Naked palette. It's like the Iphone after a few, you know they are just bringing out new ones for the money, nothing really innoviative. The Naked III palette is also odd in the fact that is not neautral shades. The first one was more warm neturals, the seconed was cool tone neutrals. This palette has variations of pink shades. I can't imagine that would be universally flattering for people or even half the popluation. For examples, my favorite is the II palette because the cool tones complimant my blue eyes. I have never been a fan of pink eyeshadows, although they do look beautiful in the pan. And, just like the Iphone you always have to get the next one. My suggestion would be to skip this one, and stick to finishing the other two you already have.

Perfume: Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir

I can say without a doubt that Jo Malone makes the best fragrances around. They are simple and elegant which is what I like in my scents. I am not a fan of artificial vanilla strong scents. Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir is not a crisp fresh scent like English Pear and Frescia. It is a dark, warm scent which is perfect for the winter time. It's on the sweeter side but still maintains clean notes, which is what separates Jo Malone from other companies. I specifically enjoy that Jo Malone just makes fragrance and nothing else.

TOM FORD LIPSTICK - INDIAN ROSE

Recently, I purchased my first Tom Ford lipstick at Bergdorf Goodman. This recent acquisition has inspired me to start blogging. I was overwhelmed with the choices as all the colors are beautiful, you defiantly can't go wrong. My first decision was to either go for a neutral everyday shade or a beautiful bold color. Being that the lipstick is on the pricer side of life, i wanted to get more wear from it and use it frequently. I decided to go for the shade called Indian Rose, which is a very pigmented mauve everyday pink for me. I was really impressed with the creamy texture, it felt very moisturizing. In a way it reminded me of the YSL Rouge Volupte but not as creamy to the point where it slips off the lips. The pigmentation is great, and the color in the bullet is what transfers to the lips. Lastly, I have noticed that Spanish Pink gets a lot of love, but for me it's all about Indian Rose.
