URBAN DECAY - NAKED 3 PALETTE

I wasn't very excited when I heard a new version of the Naked palette. It's like the Iphone after a few, you know they are just bringing out new ones for the money, nothing really innoviative. The Naked III palette is also odd in the fact that is not neautral shades. The first one was more warm neturals, the seconed was cool tone neutrals. This palette has variations of pink shades. I can't imagine that would be universally flattering for people or even half the popluation. For examples, my favorite is the II palette because the cool tones complimant my blue eyes. I have never been a fan of pink eyeshadows, although they do look beautiful in the pan. And, just like the Iphone you always have to get the next one. My suggestion would be to skip this one, and stick to finishing the other two you already have.

Perfume: Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir

I can say without a doubt that Jo Malone makes the best fragrances around. They are simple and elegant which is what I like in my scents. I am not a fan of artificial vanilla strong scents. Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir is not a crisp fresh scent like English Pear and Frescia. It is a dark, warm scent which is perfect for the winter time. It's on the sweeter side but still maintains clean notes, which is what separates Jo Malone from other companies. I specifically enjoy that Jo Malone just makes fragrance and nothing else.

TOM FORD LIPSTICK - INDIAN ROSE

Recently, I purchased my first Tom Ford lipstick at Bergdorf Goodman. This recent acquisition has inspired me to start blogging. I was overwhelmed with the choices as all the colors are beautiful, you defiantly can't go wrong. My first decision was to either go for a neutral everyday shade or a beautiful bold color. Being that the lipstick is on the pricer side of life, i wanted to get more wear from it and use it frequently. I decided to go for the shade called Indian Rose, which is a very pigmented mauve everyday pink for me. I was really impressed with the creamy texture, it felt very moisturizing. In a way it reminded me of the YSL Rouge Volupte but not as creamy to the point where it slips off the lips. The pigmentation is great, and the color in the bullet is what transfers to the lips. Lastly, I have noticed that Spanish Pink gets a lot of love, but for me it's all about Indian Rose.

Le Métier de Beauté Breathless Kaleidoscope Lip Kit & Bronzer

For some reason, this fall, I have been drawn to wearing reds on my lips. Never before have I found a red shade that I thought suited me well. I always was drawn to reds though, because they make your teeth look whiter, give a pop of color, and overall it's a change from the typical nudes and pinks. This Le Metier de Beaute Breathless Kaleidoscope offers 4 options. It retails at $95. The idea behind Le Metier's Kaleidoscope, is that you can wear each shade individually, or layer them on. The shades are: Cinema ( a true red), Existential (sparkling mauve), Beau (deep berry crimson), and Celluloid (creamy flushed red).

I also got the bronzer in Sun Kissed. I am so taken back by Le Metier's face products. They are all I use now. I don't even touch any of my other bronzers and blushes. This bronzer all though looks a bit dark in the pan comes out lighter. It also gives such a nice glow, as do all of Le Meteier's face products tend to do. This  "glow" is what sets there products apart from others. The bronzer retails for $55.

Perfume: Lancome La vie est belle

For a long time I have been on the hunt for a "sweet" perfume, to wear at night. Apparently, this is no easy task. Angel makes me sick, Prada Candy smells like straight carmel, pink sugar smells childish, Flowerbomb is better, but still too strong. When I received a sample of Lancome's La vie et belle, I can honestly say, I did not think there was a chance I would like it. First of all, I associate Lancome fragrances with older women. Second, once I saw 3.3 oz was $95, I was immediately turned off. Well to my surprise I loved it! I loved it so much that after doing some serious research, I purchased it the next day. I found out that the fragrance was made by the creator of Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb, which explains the hefty price tag. Overall, this is a beautiful fragrance, and really stands out in the "sweet" fragrance category.

Caudalie: Beauty Elixer

I have had my eye on this beauty elixer for a while. I personally, am not a fan of Mac's fix plus. I know a lot of people like it, but I don't like the scent, or how much comes out when you spray it. The Caudalie elixer, on the other hand, has such a pleasant scent. It awakens you up, with minty notes. In addition, your makeup looks fresher, without that wet look. It is also packed with oils and other ingredients that are good for your skin. Caudalie products are formulated without parabens, sulfates, fragrances, dyes, other stuff that is harmful to your skin. Retail $18 for 1.0 oz, $48.00 for the 3.4 oz. The Caudalie Beauty Elixer is sold at sephora.com, caudalie.com, and birchbox.com.

Recently Caudalie has released their Favorite's set. This set is a great value at $35, and includes the 1.0 oz elixer, and other Caudalie best sellers.
